By Air

Siargao Island does have it's own, small, domestic airport however the limited airport facilities restrict the size and type of aircraft that can utilize the airport and currently the only scheduled air services to/from Siargao Airport (IAO) are operated up to seven days weekly by Cebu Pacific Air from/to Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB).

We have provided a Cebu Pacific Air link (below) for checking schedules, prices, and/or the booking of flight(s).

The next nearest and most convenient airport is Surigao City Airport (SUG) with daily scheduled air services from/to Manila International Airport (MNL) and Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB). These routes are operated by Air Philippines (not to be confused with its sister company Philippines Airlines) operating as PAL Express/Airphil Express and/or by Cebu Pacific Air.

We have provided Cebu Pacific Air and Air Philippines links (above) for checking schedules, prices, and/or the booking of flight(s).

By Sea

Sea services to/from Siargao Island are operated from/to Surigao City with the main port on Siargao Island being in the main town of Dapa and with a secondary port located in Del Carmen.

It might be said that the only reliable sea schedule is the schedule operated by the Montenegro Shipping Lines 'RoRo' ferry which, daily, departs Surigao City at 1200 hours arriving Siargao Island at 1500 hours and departing Siargao Island at 0600 hours arriving in Surigao City at 0900 hours'

There are also the vessels 'Fortune Angel 1' and 'Fortune Angel 2', these vessels, daily, depart from both Siargao Island and Surigao City at 0530 hours with the return journeys departing from reciprocol ports at 1130 hours, the crossing time is approximately 2.75 hours.

Other sea services operate from/to The Boulevard on Surigao City seafront as opposed to Surigao City Port, crossing times are some 2.75 hours, but less comfortable outrigger craft, schedules are only approximate and do fluctuate but, it seems, craft depart both Surigao City and Dapa Port at approximately 0530 to 0600 hours and 1030 to1100 hours daily.

Siargao Island Port and Airport Transfers

We are pleased to, subject to availabilty, offer our guests transportation from/to Dapa Port, Siargao Airport and/or Del Carmen Port utilising third party transport providers, please enquire regarding prices etc.

Particularly, upon arrival at Dapa Port, tourists will find themselves faced by a "wall" of motorcycle riders, some will display "General Luna" and/or "Cloud 9" placards that may give the impression that they are representative of one or more particular resort(s).

In the majority of cases THEY ARE NOT representative of any resort and often they will be unlicensed riders driving unlicensed and/or unroadworthy (defective lights etc.) motorcycles and as Siargao Island's roads become busier and busier such unlicensed drivers and/or defective vehicles are representing more and more of a hazard.

We may only recommend our guests to, as a minimum requirement, ask to see a valid driving licence of any such transport provider and to check any relevant terms and conditions of their own travel insurance.
